Powerful 13 Channel Discrete Amplifier with ECO Mode

The AVC-X8500H features a monolithic power amplifier design with Denon custom made transistors and identical circuit topology on all 13 channels. All channels are able to safely drive lower impedance speakers (down to 4 ohms). This ultimate build-quality guarantees best-in-class sound quality with minimum interference, astonishing clarity, power, detail, and depth. Moreover, the 13 channel amplification allows for setting up a full 9.1.4 or 7.1.6 3D experience without the need of an external amplifier. If not in use for 3D audio the additional integrated amplifiers can be assigned to drive speakers in two additional audio zones running a different source than the main room. Denon's intelligent ECO mode adjusts power consumption according to signal level, and there's an on-screen Eco Mode display that lets you see in real time how much energy ECO mode is saving.

Advanced Audyssey Room Correction Suite

Equipped with the full Audyssey Platinum suite of advanced DSP algorithms, the AVC-X8500H features Audyssey MultEQ XT32 au­tomatic room acoustic correction. With the supplied measurement microphone, MultEQ XT32 analyses each speaker’s output (includ­ing the subwoofers) at up to eight measurement locations and gen­erates precision digital filters that optimise each channel for the correct frequency and time domain response. Plus, the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app lets you view and adjust settings for detailed tuning and customise the sound more precisely to your room and tastes..

Smart TV Connectivity

Via the HDMI CEC (consumer electronics control) functionality in your Smart TV, you may be able to control your Denon AVR with the Smart TV's remote control. With “HDMI control” set to ON on your receiver, you can set “Smart Menu” to ON to start controlling your Denon AVR with your Smart TV's remote. The Smart Menu home screen provides you quick access to source and surround mode selections, the AVR’s setup menu, and 4 Quick Selects.

External Control and IP Control Capabilities

The AVC-X8500H is equipped with feature-rich enhanced control capabilities and compatibility with third-party and custom integration solutions.

The AVC-X8500H features IP control capability for an integration with major third-party control devices and Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Detection Protocol) certification for quick and easy integration with Control4 home automation equipment. For direct connection to external home automation and control equipment, it's also equipped with an RS-232C serial port.

For simpler integrated control set-ups, the AVC-X8500H features an IR (infrared) remote control input on the rear panel, allowing remote control compatibility with other components in your home theatre system.

Dual Subwoofer Outputs

With a single subwoofer, optimum placement within the room for the best bass response isn't always possible. Depending on the location, bass response at the main listening position can be uneven with audible peaks and dips. With 2 subwoofers positioned in different locations, response averaging evens out the low bass range for more accurate bass anywhere in the listening area
