Ortofon 2M Red Moving Magnet (MM) Cartridge
The 2M Red is an excellent choice for those looking to upgrade from their existing budget cartridge. With the 2M Red, you will hear the music come to life, it delivers an open, dynamic sound with a slight touch of warmth.
Featuring Ortofon's unique split pole pins, the 2M Red gives an even and balanced response making the music sound as natural as possible. The highly polished, tipped elliptical diamond gives excellent tracking without causing excessive wear to your vinyl, and as it's supplied with a simple to use fitting kit.
Future upgrade
The Ortofon 2M Red is a superb cartridge but there also simple upgrade paths should you want to improve the performance even further, simply unclip the stylus and swap to a 2M Blue for an even more detailed and revealing sound.
Compatibility
The 2M Series is designed for easy installation and is available in three different variants: the 2M for most common turntables on the market, the 2M Verso, for bottom mount headshells and the 2MR, which has a reduced height form factor making it suitable for turntables and tonearms with a requirement for low-form factor cartridges.

Delivery & Returns
Delivery & Returns
We offer free next day delivery on all orders over £99. For orders under £99 a delivery charge of £7.50 will be applied.
Cut-off time for next day delivery is 3pm Monday-Friday. Items ordered after 3pm on Friday will be shipped on Saturday for Monday delivery. Orders placed after 1pm on Saturday or on Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery. (please allow an extra day if a bank holiday falls within this period).
Our delivery partner DPD offers an interactive messaging service and will provide a 1-hour time window for your delivery so please provide a mobile phone number where possible.
Some items are not available on a next day delivery service, in these cases the selected product page will display the expected delivery time. If you would like to double check the delivery time prior to ordering please call 01932 851121 or email sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk.
* Remote and offshore locations are excluded from the free delivery service. For these locations we offer a standard 2-3 day delivery
service at £16 per item.

Cancellations & Returns
At Weybridge Audio we want our customers to be happy with their purchase which is why we offer a 30-day no-hassle return policy on all products purchased through our website. If you would like to return an item please call us on 01932 851121 or email to sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk including your name, address, and original order number. The cost of returning an item is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty in which case we will arrange to collect the faulty item at our expense.
Items must be returned to us in 'as new' condition, complete with all original packaging and accessories. Refunds will be processed within 5 days of receiving the item, subject to the above terms being met.
